Good News for the Entire World!

God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. While this is considered to be a trite expression, it is simply what He does. No doubt early Christians were mystified by the Apostle Paul, formerly Saul of Tarsus, their persecutor and enemy. Why would God choose someone like Saul as an apostle? And why use someone like Saul to shape the early church? To write much of the New Testament?

Before Saul was even born, God had plans for him. God let everything that Saul did, good or bad, prepare him for a powerful ministry. Saul's education, temperament and experiences all made him the perfect tool in God's hand. Because of his past, Paul was the exact person God needed him to be.

Each of us is known by God. And while all believers are called to share the Gospel of Christ, some, like Paul, are prepared by their education, temperament and experiences in an unorthodox and unconventional way.

God gave me a gift. He let me, in His wisdom, mess up in my life. Lots of times. He gave me a talent for computers. He gave me the ability to speak and write. He gave me the privelege of preaching and pastoring. And He gave me a vision.

Never in history has it been easier to reach so many people, in so little time, for so little. So begins my vision.

I see a need. There are literally hundreds of millions of people with access to the internet. Every day, thousands upon thousands of people get connected to the internet for the first time. Most of these people need Jesus!

When surfing the internet, it takes no effort whatsoever to be bombarded by the world. There are hundreds of thousands of porn sites. They reach people who are looking to fill the emptiness in their hearts. And they win people every day.

My heart is to make it easy to find Jesus. In simple terms. Straight answers. The answers Jesus gave us. A church website is for church members, by and large. My heart is to make it so that any of these millions of people can ask "who is Jesus?" and get the answer. Any of them. In any language, any country. My heart is to use this website, and sites like it, to help people find Jesus. Plain talk. Written and spoken.

I want to make it so anyone who types "who is Jesus" into his web browser will be taken here. It doesn't take a lot of money. It takes work and prayer. Lots of both. I have the capability of placing this site on half a million search engines and directories over time. I have the opportunity to tell someone looking for a porn or gambling site about Jesus!

Just as Paul spent some time evangelizing, some time pastoring, and some time making tents, I want to spend some time building sites like this, some time making it easy for our local body to bring in families with computers, video and websites for its ministries and missions, and some time "making tents." I'm trusting God that He will make it possible for me, even with my past, my obligations, and my health, to serve Him!

I'm seeking help from the body in seeing that vision become a reality. Over time, you will see this site, and sites like it, become a powerful tool for reaching people who would never set foot inside a church. They will reach people wandering online in the middle of the night. They will reach people all over the world!
